There’s been chatter for a while now that Deadpool 2 would be filming some additional footage, which was confirmed by star Josh Brolin on Instagram.
Well, now multiple local sources with knowledge of the production have shared with us the production’s new working title for the reshoots which will be Daisy and as expected to return to Vancouver. Other working titles previously used on the film include Love Machine (The Miracles) and Caribbean Blue (Enya/Big Mountain nod).
All three are seemingly references to songs.
Our assumption is that Daisy could be a nod to this Hal 9000 scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Make of that as you will, as the Deadpool titles don’t seem to be more than goofy references and unless the film has a super-computer or Sentinals I don’t think it means much.

Reshoots have become commonplace and even Fox’s The Predator will see some next month for a two-week filming period in Vancouver as well. There’s a good chance the extra shooting could be to help fill gaps noticed in the editing process or even help further setup things like Drew Goddard’s X-Force.
Deadpool 2 is set for release on May 18th, 2019.
