The shirt in this crate matches the shirt featured in this month’s Loot Crate box, which I thought was an awesome idea! I couldn’t get my dog to stand still long enough for a decent photo, but here is Odie Wan Kenobi modeling the ugly sweater T and it looks great!
There was also a Weyland-Yutani dog collar. First thing I noticed was the quality of the collar, very durable, but soft. It actually took me a minute to register that Weyland-Yutani is from the Aliens series. This collar was perfect timing, as Odie Wan needed a new one anyway.
Of course, you can’t have a Galactic theme without mentioning one of the greatest sci-fi series ever, Firefly. This month’s crate included a Firefly Troublemaker Dog Bowl. The side of the bowl says “Troublemaker”, which suits my dog perfectly.
There was also a bag of Galactic snaps which, according to the label, is dried beef snacks for dogs.
And then finally, the last item included was a Loot Pets “Founding Pet” dog tag. This is such a cool item. It was almost a shame putting it on his collar and not hanging it up somewhere but this little guy needs to let folks know he has been rolling with Loot Pets since Day One! 😛
I love the idea of a Loot Pets box. You know that feeling that you get when you see that Loot Crate at your door, and it feels like it’s Christmas or your birthday once a month? Well now your dog can feel the same as well. If they keep continue to match the shirts every month though, I will jump for joy because that is the cutest idea ever!
Kudos to the folks over at Loot Crate! You did good with this box, and donating a portion of sales to pet charities only makes me love this more!
