Jul 19, 2016

Denzel Washington will be back on the big screens for the first time in over two years with the release of The Magnificent Seven remake. Teaming up for a third time with director Antoine Fuqua, who he’d previously worked with on Training Day and The Equalizer as they bring us a story which is inspired by The Seven Samurai tale.

The Magnificent Seven see’s Denzel round-up a diverse group of outlaws that consists of Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke,Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier as the protect a small American town from a threat of violent industrialists.

I have never been a big fan of Westerns, but with a cast that includes Denzel, Pratt, Hunt and co, plus Fuqua at the helm I’m all aboard this steam train. My Grandad would be so proud, for years he tried his hardest to get me interested in Westerns and now one finally has my attention.
