Director Josh Boone Confirms Henry Zaga Is Playing Sunspot In ‘New Mutants’

Trade reports for the last couple of days have been pointing towards Brazilian actor Henry Zaga (Teen Wolf, 13 Reasons Why) for the role of Sunspot in X-Men: The New Mutants.

Director Josh Boone has confirmed this casting news on his Instagram account this morning.

Omega Underground first heard his name in the mix for the Sunspot role back in April.

New Mutants will shoot this summer in Boston with a release date of April 13th, 2018.
