If you’re a fan of the turn-based strategy RPG Disgaea, then you’ll be thrilled to know that Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is coming exclusively to the PS4 on October 6th!
You’ll be jumping back into the Netherworld with another unique cast of allies (illustrated by Takehito Harada), and getting swept up in the humor and depth of Disagaea 5’s story (written by Shohei Niikawa). However, this game takes a darker tone than any of its predecessors, with the plot centered on your crew taking revenge upon the Demon Emperor named Void Dark. Basically, he’s an evil Overlord who loves to enslave the innocents of all the Netherworlds (not that we endorse that kind of behavior at GWW).
Expect the Disgaea experience to be lengthier and to boast bigger battles with the power of the PS4. Where previous iterations had stories that lasted around 30 hours, Disgaea 5 will be in the realm of 100 hours!
To celebrate Disgaea 5‘s release, a special Launch Edition will be available at North American retailers, which includes the full game, reversible cover, 32-page art book, and original soundtrack – all packed neatly into a gorgeous collector’s box!
