Doctor Strange has really let his presence be felt since joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Staring with 2016’s Doctor Strange, into Infinity War and Endgame, and now being a central figure in this year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, the dear doctor is really getting into the thick of things. Knowing Stephen Strange, it should be no surprise that he’s bound to find other ways to really challenge the world.
With the events that occurred in No Way Home (no spoilers), it appears that the universe is just going to get even more exciting, confusing and dangerous. Now, we are able to see the first glimpses of that in the official trailer that released today.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is slated for a May 2022 release. The cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Elizabeth Olsen.
