Are we missing something concerning the scale of Dora The Explorer?
Paramount is seemingly assembling an extremely talented crew for their live-action film based on the children’s cartoon, something we weren’t exactly expecting from them.
We’ve learned that they’ve added Thor: Ragnarok and Hobbit trilogy production designer Dan Hennah. He also was the supervising art director on Lord of The Rings trilogy as well. This seems a little extreme/overkill for a film like Dora, no?
At the very least it’s going to be a very pretty looking film.
Previously, we revealed that they had added Thor: Ragnarok’s cinematographer Javier Aguirresarobe.
Filming is said to begin today at Village Roadshow Studios in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It’ll wrap sometime in November.
Paramount has set the release date for August 2nd, 2019.
