While Henry Cavill continuously teases Green Lantern in his social media posts. And Armie Hammer trolling fans about playing Green Lantern in the upcoming DCEU. Black Adam himself Dwayne Johnson has revealed he actually would like to have Armie Hammer play Shazam opposite himself.
While promoting his latest comedy Baywatch Johnson spoke with the guys at We Got This Covered exclusively about Hammer entering the DC Universe as Shazam:
Who would I love to beat up on [as Shazam]? Ha! That’s a different question. But I’m going to throw a name out here and see how the fans would react. It’s a guy that I met. And thought he was such a cool guy and is a lot bigger than I am. When he walked away I remember telling our longtime producer Harim Garcia (Baywatch, Black Adam); we both looked at each other and was like possibly? Shazam? I’m not even gonna say his name but….Lone Ranger.
Of course, we all know that Armie Hammer played The Lone Ranger in the Disney reboot alongside Johnny Depp. He also gained praise for his dual role in The Social Network and last year’s hit The Man from U.N.C.L.E with Superman himself Henry Cavill.
