What was your first Cosplay experience?
I first started cosplaying at Ottawa Pop Expo 2013 as princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda series. It was so amazing and fun, that I caught the cosplay fever and now I’m addicted to it. I don’t see myself without cosplays.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
I have been cosplaying since a year and a half now. I started in December 2013!

Who or what inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
I am a huge Legend of Zelda addict. One day, I saw on DevaintArt a cosplayer wearing a princess Zelda costume, and I fell in love with it. I read those articles she wrote about it, and it helped me a lot on getting started with my own Zelda costume. Without her, I wouldn’t be able to be there today! ‘Cause she conviced me to do it!

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn, or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
I am in love with Li Kovacs costumes. Every costume she makes is perfect, and seriously if I had to wear one of her costume for only one day, I would! I would definitely take some cosplay classes from her. She is one of the master cosplayers, and one of the best. Otherwise, I would wear Kamui Cosplay’s Protos Wizardé, that costume is amazing and really well made.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
Battleborn Kayle from League of Legends. It is an armored angel. That’s badass and she is one of my favorite champions from that game.

What advice would you offer to those who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Be patient. trust yourself, and be confident.
It takes time to make a costume. Everybody will fail, everybody will cry over something they are not satisfied with. But what is the most awesome thing about YOUR cosplay is the smile you wear with it. No matter how you look, no matter if it’s accurate or not. Wear that smile like a boss! Cosplay is about having fun, it’s important to be happy.
