The ultimate Geek trifecta has invaded April’s Geek Fuel Mystery box. Featuring items from Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Captain America: Civil War, Geek Fuel once again provides a monthly box with a variety of geekdoms covered. Everyone’s favorite universe saving Doctor dominates this box as we get an exclusive Doctor Who comic from Titan comics and a set of subtle but wonderfully artistic coasters. These items are a must have for any whovian and while the comic is a collector’s item, the coasters make a great addition to your geeky home featuring the tardis in various famous paintings. Oddly enough this are maybe my favorite item even though I am not at all a Doctor Who fan. They just look great on my new coffee table.

Again, the thing that separates Geek Fuel from other monthly subscriptions boxes is they don’t tie themselves down with a theme and instead you just get great items any geek will love. So if your like me and Doctor Who just isn’t your thing you still have something to look forward too, like the Captain America: Civil War tee shirt featuring Cap and Iron Man as Rock’em Sock’Em Robots battling it out. Its the perfect tee to wear to the midnight premiere and you always have to dress to impress at a Marvel movie.

To complete the geek trifecta Geek Fuel  gives you a dash of Star Wars with this First Order Stormtrooper bobble-head. Not an exclusive item or from Funkco but none the less this little guy still looks great on a shelf or desk. And let’s be honest you can never have enough Star Wars stuff.

As always Geek Fuel has the gamers covered and this month we get a steam code for Fallen A2P Protcol, a turn based strategy game where you lead your caravan through an apocalyptic wasteland. Unfortunately while I am a gamer I will probably be passing this along to a friend as turned based strategy isn’t’ my favorite genre, mostly because I’m an idiot. Either way the game does look and at a $20 value its worth the price of the box alone.

Lastly the Geek Fuel magazine once again features some cool articles and that awesome Gifts for Geeks section. In fact if you listen the The Weekly Planet Podcast like I do, then you might be interested in the short feature on the guys in this months magazine. But even though I am a huge fan of The Weekly Planet, the Gifts for Geeks section continues to be a great gift guide for my wife.

In case you missed it here are all the items featured Geek Fuel’s April box.

  • Captain America: Civil War Smash’EM Crash’EM Tee Shirt
  • Exclusive Doctor Who #2.1 Geek Fuel Variant from Titan Comics
  • The Doctor Travels Through Art History Coaster Set
  • Star Wars First Order Stromtrooper Vinyl Bobble Head
  • Fallen A2P Protcol Downloadable Game
  • Captain America Sticker

I always judge a monthly book on not only its how geeky the items are but also their usefulness and with the exception of the Fallen A2P game code, I will use/wear all of these items, hell I am wearing the Civil War tee shirt as I sit here and write this and the coasters are already sprawled across the new coffee table. So in my mind despite me not being a huge Doctor Who fan, Geek Fuel’s April box is still a success and I am already looking forward to next month.

At an early age I knew I loved two things more than anything else Comic Books and Video Games and no matter how hard my parents tried they couldn't keep me away from the capes and pixels. Now that I have a wife and child of my own I can't wait to share these vast worlds and experiences with them and hopefully you! With GWW I created and become editor of the comics section, which has now become the websites most popular area and features daily post with unique Comic editorials, reviews and previews. Along with Will Elizondo we started the GWW Capes Crew podcast. A weekly show dedicated to to all things Comics, Superheros and Sequential Art. After a year of creating content for GWW I was made its Editor in Chief. I love everything I do and can't think of a better way to spend my time than to spread every form of geekery to every corner of the globe. Comics will all be my passion though and were my heart lies.
