We have a brief crew update before filming on the Shining sequel Doctor Sleep begins next month in Atlanta, Georgia.
Stranger Things visual effects supervisor Marc Kolbe has joined the film.
Other crew members we previously mentioned includes production designer Maher Ahmad(Zombieland) and cinematographer Michael Fimognari (Gerald’s Game, Ouija: Origin of Evil).
Mike Flanagan will direct a cast that consists of Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zahn McClarnon.
Filming is said to begin on September 24th in Atlanta and will wrap in December.
Warner Bros. has set Doctor Sleep’s release date for January 24th, 2020.
