Exclusive: I’ve learned Blumhouse has found another project to develop, this time in the form of an adaptation of the short horror story “The House Of Lost Souls.”
The story, which was written by Patrick Glendon McCullough and can be read here, follows a down-and-out doctor who, when he “finds his rundown mansion is haunted, pulls the quintessentially American move: opening the house to the public for a fee. Everything goes wrong from there.”
Jason Blum is producing for Blumhouse alongside Greg Nichols and Matthew Pearl, who are producing for Truly Adventurous. No release date has been set.
