Exclusive: The GWW has learned ‘Game of Thrones’ alum David Nutter will be reuniting with HBO to direct the first episode of ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife.’ This upcoming television series is another adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger’s novel of the same name.
Nutter is an HBO veteran, having directed episodes of ‘The Sopranos,’ ‘Entourage,’ ‘Band of Brothers,’ and ‘The Pacific.’ He’s also a WB veteran on The CW, with ‘Roswell,’ ‘Smallville,’ ‘Supernatural,’ ‘Arrow,’ and ‘The Flash.’ Other notable credits include FOX’s ‘The X-Files,’ NBC’s ‘ER,’ and Showtime’s ‘Shameless.’
The premise of the drama series is below:
“An intricate and magical love story about Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel.”
There are currently no cast members as of now, but there should be soon.
The series hails from Steven Moffat (‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Sherlock,’ ‘Dracula’), who is also set to executive produce alongside Sue Vertue and Brian Minchin.
No premiere date has been set.
