Disney+ is currently casting its new ‘Love, Simon’ series, and we have details on the lead character.
Victor is a Latinx “closeted, really cute, athletic, well-liked, warm-hearted high school soccer star.” The casting department is searching for an actor who is 16-17 years old.
The show will be based on the movie of the same name that is based on the book Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda. The film was directed by Greg Berlanti and starred Nick Robinson. Neither will be involved with the series. Brian Tanen, Elizabeth Berger, and Isaac Aptaker are executive producing.
Filming is set to begin mid-August in LA. No release date has been announced.
