EXCLUSIVE: John Fawcett Tapped To Direct First Episode Of ‘Titans’ Season Two

With production nearing its April 2nd start, the DC Universe series ‘Titans’ has tapped ‘Orphan Black’ co-creator John Fawcett to direct the first episode of season two.

Fawcett is no stranger to the world of ‘Titans,’ having directed the backdoor pilot episode ‘Doom Patrol from the first season. Besides ‘Orphan Black,’ Fawcett has worked on a number of well-known shows including ‘Xena: Warrior Princess’ and ‘Blade: The Series.’ He has also directed the films ‘Ginger Snaps’ and ‘The Dark.’

‘Titans’ follows Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) as he teams up with Raven (Teagan Croft), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) to stop the end of the world. Season two will see Superboy, played by newcomer Joshua Orpin, join the team as they face off against Deathstroke (Essai Morales). The series hails from Greg Walker, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter, and Greg Berlanti.

Season two does not yet have a premiere date.
