Exclusive: Justin Theroux is headed back to TV!
The ‘Leftovers’ star is set to lead another prestige series in the form of an untitled Apple TV+ drama.
‘Luther’ creator Neil Cross is writing and executive producing with ‘Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’ director Rupert Wyatt on board to helm the series.
The series will follow brilliant inventor Allie Fox as he flees America to create a utopian society in Honduras, but he has unknowingly led his family into unimaginable danger.
Justin Theroux is best known for his role in HBO’s ‘The Leftovers’ as well as ‘American Psycho’, ‘Mullholland Dr.’, and Netflix’s ‘Maniac’. He will next be heard in Disney+’ live-action ‘The Lady & The Tramp’.
Neil Cross is the creator of ‘Luther’, which stars Idris Elba. He also co-wrote the screenplay for ‘Mama’ with Andy and Barbara Muschietti.
Rupert Wyatt is the director of ‘Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’, the first movie in the ‘Planet Of The Apes’ prequel trilogy, and the 2016 sci-fi thriller ‘Captive State’.
Apple TV+ will launch on November 1st.
