Exclusive: just five days after season nine finished airing. AMC has set the start date for production on the hit zombie-drama ‘The Walking Dead.’

Cameras set to roll on May 6th of this year in Atlanta and Senoia, Georgia. Filming is tentatively set to wrap on November 21st as well. Angela Kang serves as showrunner for the series with Gale Anne Hurd, Scott Gimple, Greg Nicotero, and Amy Beth Barnes executive producing. Norman Reedus stars as the redneck, crossbow-wielding Daryl Dixon alongside Melissa McBride, Samantha Morton, and Dania Gurira. Season 10 will follow the communities of Alexandria and Hilltop as they deal with the looming threat of the Whisperers. It will likely premiere this October.
