Yesterday, our friends over at That Hashtag Show revealed a character breakdown for a brand new character named “David” will appear in the season finale of DC Universes streaming series Titans. Based on the description the character very much sounds like Superboy will be debuting on the series and be added to future seasons. Due to his creation with Project C.A.D.M.U.S and being a teenage clone of Superman.
David – he is a 20s-something Caucasian male with dark hair who would guest star in the 13th episode, which is the season 1 finale. “David” is described as a powerful individual who is merciless, so much so that he has recently unleashed chaos to the people who have been keeping “David” as a prisoner in a mysterious lab. When we find “David”, he will have recently have escaped this lab. Whoever we see in the role would have a series regular option for consecutive seasons of Titans.
Now we at Omega Underground have found an audition tape for the role of David read by actor Chris Tabet (Psychodrama). However, based on the audition tape the role of David is for that of an upcoming rookie cop not Superboy. Now it should be mentioned the script the actor uses in the audition tape could be just for the audition.
That the character David is joining the Police Academy like his father. However, he doesn’t think he can live up to his father’s name. This is very reminiscent of the complicated relationship between Superboy and Superman. But the series could also be taking a turn on Superboy’s origin story as well. It’s unknown at this point…

Off-Screen Female – “So. Did you get in?”
David – “Yeah it’s official. I start police academy next week.”
Off-Screen Female -“I thought you’d be more excited?”
David – “I am. I don’t know. Is this what I really want? Dad was a cop for 20 years. Where did that get him? Beside Dead?”
Off-Screen Female -“He helped people.”
David – “Yeah, now that he is gone. I mean the only people getting things done around here are the Patrucio’s.”
Off-Screen Female – “So, you’re going to join the mob instead?”
[David Smirks]
Off-Screen Female – “I’m kidding”
David – “You know when Joey found out I got into the Academy. He invited me out to lunch. While I was eating that forty dollar lobster. He told me that…there are opportunity’s for someone like me.”
Off-Screen Female – “You’re kidding”
David – “No it was forty dollars. Best lobster I ever had.”
Off-Screen Female – “You’re an idiot.”
David – “Hey! I know the criminals. Kay but they take care of their own. They take care of this neighborhood. When Mom was mugged what did the cops do? Nothing. When Sammy found out about it he dragged that asshole right to my doorstep. I keep m y ear open for them. No one touches your mom ever again.”
Off-Screen Female – “David, this is crazy. All your life you’ve wanted to be a cop.”
David – “And I’m still going to be a cop. I’m still going to be helping people. I’m not going to be doing stuff for only them all of the time.”
Off-Screen Female – “Eventually they are going to want you to do something bad.”
David – “And they are going to have to pay for it. Look a couple payday’s here and there. We can get out of here. Maybe in a couple of years. Mom can go to Florida. Something.”
Off-Screen Female – “And if they want you to kill someone”
David – “If the price is right. Florida here we come.
