‘Expendables 4’ Summer Shoot Delayed To 2019 Due To Actor Scheduling Conflicts

May 22, 2018

Deadline has word that Expendables 4 will delaying it’s production start from August to early 2019. It had been eyeing a shoot in Bulgaria but seemingly wouldn’t have anyone on set if they stuck with that date.

Looking how busy everyone got in 2018 it’s not hard to imagine that the biggest reason for the production delay is a massive scheduling conflict with a bulk of the cast including main star Sly Stallone.

Omega Underground can easily breakdown why this wasn’t going to be ready for the August start previously.

Jason Statham has Hobbs and Shaw shooting in September around the same Stallone’s Rambo 5 is expected to begin filming. Jet Li has a role in Mulan which is said to be shooting this summer/fall and Arnold Schwarzenegger has Tim Miller’s Terminator movie that will be filming until November.

A release date hasn’t been made official but sometime in late 2019 sounds about right.
