Space, the final frontier?
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch worldwide Friday, Nov. 4, and will feature thrilling, high-speed space fighter battles, while gamers war against the nefarious “Settlement Defense Front.”
This new title, developed by Infinty Ward, will take players beyond the reach of Earth and into the depths of the solar system. While the series has taken to futuristic warfare, this is certainly the first time it has visited space. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered
A remastered Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be included with special editions of Infinite Warfare. It will include fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio. The game’s online multiplayer support will feature 10 maps from the original Modern Warfare including Crash, Backlot and Crossfire.
Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, expounded upon why it was so important that these two titles be features together:

We have lovingly remastered it with a whole new level of graphical fidelity and realism that wasn’t possible when the original was released. It’s going to be a great year for Call of Duty players.”
