Earlier, this week it was revealed by getFandom (via Twitter) that production on the long-in-production Flash solo film will begin filming this February. While many took this as just a rumor; we now have confirmation regarding the report. In Deadline’s recent report regarding a Supergirl film script being put into motion; it also confirms that The Flash will indeed begin production February 2019.
The Flash solo film has had many stalls getting made into a feature film. With several directors boarding then departing the project including Chris Miller & Phil Lord (22 Jump Street) and Rick Famuyiwa (Dope). Before finally announcing in January that the duo of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Game Night) will helm the project. Ezra Miller, Kiersey Clemons and Billy Crudup are expected to return.
