‘Fargo’s Bokeem Woodbine Might Be Another Addition To ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Jun 23, 2016

Bokeem Woodbine (The Rock, The Hit, Riddick, Total Recall) has been revealed as potentially also having a role in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming via a fan photo posted on Twitter.

The post suggests that Bokeem spotted in Atlanta, is there shooting Spider-Man. This hasn’t been confirmed by a more creditable source or set photos, but it does make sense considering all the talented TV actors that are being put together for supporting roles. Then again, there are multiple projects being filmed in and around the city.

Woodbine recently got a lot of attention for his gangster role in the second season of Fargo, and could easily be playing friend or foe to Peter Parker in the film.

For the moment consider this as a rumor until we get further confirmation.

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter confirms Bokeem’s addition and reveals he’ll play a villain in the film, joining Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green. Three more villains and the film will start to get very sinister.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for release next year on July 7th, 2017.
