The First Trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans Has Arrived

Jun 29, 2017

It’s finally arrived. The first trailer for the highly anticipated new series based on the Marvel Comics adventures of the Inhumans.

Inhumans will feature the royal family of the Inhuman city of Attilan. The king Black Bolt and his Queen Medusa rule over the hidden city that exists on Earth’s moon. When internal strife and rebellion, led by Black Bolt’s brother Maximus ousts the king and queen, they escape to Earth. The trailer shows the members of the royal family including Gorgon, Karnak and Crystal as well as teleporting dog Lockjaw. There is also the hint of underwater Inhuman Triton shown.

There’s still a rough quality to the trailer itself and it isn’t particularly overwhelming considering how awesome the big screen Marvel trailers have been with Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and next years Black Panther. Touting the IMAX aspect of the series is fine, but fans want to be dazzled by the story, the characters and the effects. So far, that hasn’t been the case with the footage from the series so far.
