This weekend (3/21-3/22) Fresno State hosts its first ever comic convention: FresCon. The event includes a wide range of pop culture talks, a vendor hall, a cosplay contest, crochet tutorial, kids craft zone, movie screening, and a Super Smash Bros Tournament. FresCon is free for all attendees.

FresCon was created by the on-campus geek culture club at Fresno State: “Pick Your Potion”. University Courtyard, (Fresno State’s on-campus housing) and the Associated Students Inc are also major sponsors of the event.

FresCon was designed as a celebration of geek culture and as a way to get students involved in on campus events.
