Thalia Worldwide recently shared an on-set picture of a shirtless Killer Croc, giving us our first full look at the practical makeup being use for his look for Suicide Squad. And its amazing. Some fans have expressed disappointment in his look, wondering why they haven’t gone CG for him and saying he doesn’t look big enough or menacing enough. But a look at him in full make-up, I have disagree with him. I find plenty menacing and more believable than a CG creation would have been. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has an impressive physical presence (as seen in both Lost and The Mummy Returns) that using CG would have been an insult in my opinion. He easily carries off the look and embodies the powerhouse that Killer Croc is. I can’t wait to see him in full action on-screen.
Suicide Squad will be in theatres next August.
