‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Shortened; Will Debut Summer 2017

This rumor has been around for a while but it has now been confirmed. “Winter is Here” which means Season 7 of Game of Thrones has been pushed back several months. HBO themselves have confirmed that to film the show in Ireland, Iceland and Spain in the “Fall/Winter” time means the premiere for season 7 of the show has been pushed back from April 2017 to Summer. The showrunners David Benioff & D. B. Weiss also have revealed that Season 7 and 8 will be shortened down from their typical 10 episode format. Season 7 is expected to be 8 Episodes long with the supposed final season being between 6-8 episodes long.
