Something that easily will be a highlight of 2015 (gaming wise) is now making it’s way to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the form of The Fast & The Furious expansion for Forza Horizon 2 (Boy, that sentence was a mouth full). Turn 10 and Universal Studios decided to join forces and bring this product to the fans of both series. And catch this…you don’t have to own FH2 to download the expansion. Thats right, you can download this puppy as it is without having to pay 50 bucks for a copy of FH2. And ANOTHER added bonus: it drops on March 27 and is free until April 3rd. Everything about this is awesome.
The story of the expansion takes place before the events of the upcoming The Fast & The Furious 7 as you take on the role of a driver in France, and instead of the standard mechanic in the normal FH2 you get the one and only Ludacris upgrading your car.
Now the cars that will be included in the game are some classic you may remember from previous Fast & The Furious films, such as the 1998 Toyota Supra, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 2012 Nissan GT-R, 1970 Plymouth Cuda, 1970 Dodge Charger R/T (Vin Diesel’s car), 2014 Maserati Ghibli S, 2013 Jeep Wrangler, and 2015 Dodge Charger. So a nice couple of cars to add to FH2’s, who can complain?
The head of Turn 10 Alan Hurtman added about the expansion, “I hope what we’re doing here is a model for what we do in the future. It’s been a great relationship, and I don’t want to end it after this, so we’ll see what’s possible in the future.”
