On this week’s comic book review round table we dive into Gideon Falls from Image Comics: a new series from Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino where mental illness and faith collide when two men, one a mental patient obsessed with nails in the big city’s trash and the other, a washed-up Catholic priest wrapped up in a small town’s dark secrets, both become intertwined in the mystery of an otherworldly Black Barn that appears throughout history in both the big city and the small town, bringing death and madness in its wake.
