THR recently reported that Love star Gillian Jacobs has joined the upcoming Netflix/Amblin horror film Larry from writer-director Jacob Chase, based on his short film.
The story tells of a troubled young boy (Azhy Robertson) and his family who become the target of a monster that materialized through electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Omega Underground has learned they’ve hired production designer David J. Bomba.
His excellent credits include Mudbound, Godless, A Million Little Pieces, and Walk The Line.
Filming will take place this fall in Toronto and is expected to drop on Netflix sometime next year.
