Season one of Amazon’s Jack Ryan hasn’t even been released and things are already moving forward on season two. As Prometheus and The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo actress Noomi Rapace will join John Krasinski in the second season, as it was announced by the co-showrunner at Comic-Con as pointed out by Deadline.
Executive producer and co-showrunner Carlton Cuse announced at Amazon’s mega-panel in Ballroom 20 that Noomi Rapace will be joining the John Krasinski led series in its second season.
Jack Ryan, an up-and-coming CIA analyst, is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. He soon uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
Jack Ryan is set to launch on August 31st.
