It looks like we have one of mutant kids on the run in this new X-Men series.
Deadline reports that Goldbergs actress Natalie Alyn Lind has joined the pilot as one of the family members on the run. She will play a mutant named Laura.
Two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
Lind will play Lauren, one of the children at the center of the story. Smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college applications, Lauren is the model of a perfect kid.
True Blood actor Stephen Moyer will be playing Laura’s human father Reed.
