What was your first Cosplay Experience? Technically it was just wearing a knit brainslug from Futurama to Gen Con in 2013. I had people in these amazing costumes stopping me to tell me how much they loved the brain slug. It was then that I decided I should start putting together some costumes.
How long have you been Cosplaying? Im actually at my 1 year mark now. So I’m still very much new to this!
What is your favorite cosplay you have worn/created? I love them all so much but if I had to choose it would be classic Magneto. I love the way people’s faces light up when they see it. Especially kids they love it and it’s always great to see them smile.
If you had unlimited resources, what Cosplay would you create? Oh boy that is a tough question because there is so much I would want to build. But I think a huge classic Sentinel from X-men would be at the top of that list!
What advice would you offer others trying to break into Cosplay? Just do it! Have fun with it! Whether you buy your costumes or make them yourself just go out there and have fun. I think a lot of people forget that it’s all about having fun and enjoying our fandom. If you have an idea just go for it! Don’t let anyone discourage you or tell you that you can’t do something. Also don’t be afraid to ask others for help or advice most cosplayers are awesome about helping each other out.
