Many have wondered since it’s initial announcement if James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy follow-up would simply have a number in it’s title like Marvel’s Iron Man films. Well, during the press tours for their next film Ant-Man Marvel head Kevin Feige let slip the possible title for the sequel “We start shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 in February-March 2016.” This left many confused on this statement if in fact this was the title for the second installment. Then director James Gunn went onto confirm the title will indeed be title Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
This is actually genius on the side of James Gunn given the music was the best part of the original film…
