In 1982 Taito released Jungle King and we’ve been swinging, stabbing, and jumping ever since. Have a seat on the GenXGrownUp couch with Jon & Mo as we fire up MAME and relive a vital part of our misspent 80’s arcade youth. It’s time to throw on a loin cloth, grab your knife, and dive into Jungle King!

This arcade game classic was later released as Jungle Hunt and ported to multiple systems for Atari and many others. It’s a great one-player or two-player side-scroller perfect for any retro arcade game room. Let’s play!

"You have to grow older, but you don't have to grow up." We're Generation X'ers who spent our childhood immersed in the music, movies, games, and pop culture of the late 70s & 80s. All of that stuff has shaped who we are today as adults. So all of those nostalgic things are still very much a part of how we live our lives & see the world in the 21st century.
