A Halo TV series is on the way and it was previously revealed the Showtime mini-series from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television was expected to start shooting in the fall.

Omega Underground has learned they now plan on getting cameras rolling by October and are eyeing Budapest, Hungary as a production location.

Paramount’s new Terminator film will be shooting in Budapest over the summer and Blade Runner 2049 shot there previously, making it a prime stage location for science fiction projects.

A feature film had once been developed over at 20th Century Fox with Peter Jackson producing, Alex Garland penning a version of the script, and a newcomer named Neill Blomkamp attached to direct.
