Over the summer it was announced that The Leftovers & LOST showrunner Damon Lindelof was developing a Watchmen TV Series at HBO. While no casting has been announced yet for the upcoming project our friends over at That Hashtag Show has revealed the production date for the pilot. According to their sources filming is expected to begin this March. We at Omega Underground will bring you locations once that becomes available to us.
It’s unknown how well this series will be received considering that Zack Snyder’s original film is considered one of the great comic book movies of all time. But breathing new life into a classic comic can be a great thing. Expect casting to be announced sometime after the new year for the series.
