For a while now casting breakdowns have floated around the internet for the main characters for Marvel’s upcoming move “The Eternals”. It was reported some time ago that Marvel would be casting their first openly gay actor to portray the male lead in the upcoming film. Now, according to new rumors, that male lead will be Hercules. Hercules is not directly named on the casting breakdowns but is given another name instead. It is not currently known what actor will be portraying him in the film, but casting should begin sooner rather than later as the film is slated to start filming September 16th in London.
“The Eternals” will be directed by Chloé Zhao and Matthew and Ryan Firpo were tasked with writing the script. “The Eternals” is expected to release in late 2020.
