Disney and Star Wars have just unleashed news that will excite geeks more than they already are. According to StarWars.com, Emilia Clarke, the Mother of Dragons herself, has been cast in the upcoming Han Solo stand alone film.
There are few details as to who the Game of Thrones actress will portray in the yet untitled film, but according to the site “Clarke’s role will round out a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures.”
The casting is the latest coup for Lucasfilm who recently announced that Community and Atlanta actor Donald Glover would be portraying the young Lando Calrissian alongside Alden Ehrenreich as the film’s lead.
