Hugh Jackman Looks Like ‘Old Man Logan’ In New Orleans For ‘Wolverine 3’

May 31, 2016

Hugh Jackman was spotted in New Orleans by the Daily Mail, which has him rocking more of a grey beard than we’re used to, suggesting that his aged look will indeed be inspired by the Old Man Logan character designs.

There’s more to suggest this, as another photo posted by Jackman himself on set of Wolverine 3, shows him with a buzzed haircut, giving us the impression Logan could also be getting his signature Old Man Logan buzz-cut as well.

Jackman has been teasing for years the third film could take inspiration from the Old Man Logan comics, even name-dropping it last summer at Comic-Con.

Wolverine 3 is according to producer Simon Kinberg, is an R-rated film set in the future with a very western feel to it, more clues that it could take cues from Old Man Logan.

Fox hasn’t made anything official about the film, but it’s rumored to include X-23, The Reavers, Donald Pierce and possibly X-Men villain Mister Sinister. A bulk of the characters from the original comic aren’t allowed to be in a X-Men film due to most character rights belonging to Marvel Studios, so if they were to tackle a version of Old Man Logan they’d have to make a lot of changes to it.

The third and final Wolverine film is scheduled for release on March 3rd, 2017.
