‘Hurt Locker’s Anthony Mackie Reunites With Kathryn Bigelow For Detroit Riot Crime Flick

Mashable reports that Anthony Mackie will be reunting with his Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigleow on her new untitled film that will focus on a crime that takes place over the five days of the 1967 Detroit riot.

It was previously reported that John Boyega, Jack Reynor, Will Poulter, Ben O’Toole and Hannah Murray will have roles as well.

A release date hasn’t been announced, but production is set to begin this summer.
