Instagram is reportedly developing “AI Agents” or chatbots with 30 different personalities to assist users in answering questions, offering advice, and writing messages. The social media app has not yet confirmed the leaked images shared on Twitter by mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi. While the AI language model used is not mentioned, Instagram’s parent company Meta has expressed interest in using generative AI for creative tools and building AI personalities. Other social media platforms such as Snapchat, Twitter, and TikTok are also investing in generative AI chatbots.
