Today, it was announced that The Imitation Game star Jack Bannon has been cast as Young Alfred in Epix’s upcoming Batman prequel series Pennyworth. The series is being created by Gotham showrunners Danny Canon and Bruno Heller. However, this show will not be connected to that one as they are on separate networks.
Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier in his 20’s, who forms a security company and goes to work with a young billionaire, Thomas Wayne, who’s not yet Bruce’s father, in 1960s London.
Production on the upcoming series is set to commence on October 22nd in London.
Pennyworth will debut on Epix in 2019
