Samurai Jack ran on Cartoon Network from 2001-2004. It was critically acclaimed and heralded as being a truly great animated series. Thirteen years later, Jack is back.
Cartoon Network has released the full length trailer for the 5th season of Samurai Jack and it is truly epic. It looks like our hero has not been adjusting well to life in the future. With no Aku to fight, Jack seems to have lost his purpose as well as the ability to return home. While the trailer is short on dialogue, much like the series itself, it is filled with the action you expect from the Genndy Tatakovsky series. Jack is dealing with a whole host of new threats as well as exercising his personal demons in order to find a purpose again.
Samurai Jack premieres on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim March 11, 2017.
