James Wan’s ‘Swamp Thing’ Series Adds ‘Queen of The South’ Production Designer – Beings Filming September 10th

The DC Universe series Swamp Thing is slowly coming together and we’re genuinely excited to see what they come up with here. The series of 13-Episodes will be produced by James Wan and was written by IT screenwriter Gary Dauberman.

Omega Underground has learned the series has landed veteran production designer Charles William Breen, who’s credits include Eight Legged FreaksThe Exorcist series and Queen of The South. His impressive art department credits include Blade Runner, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Crow: City of Angels, Beverly Hills Cop, The Hunt For Red October, and Addams Family Values.

We previously reported that filming would begin this fall in North Carolina, as DiscussingFilm adds the production start is expected to begin on September 10th in Wilmington. 

Casting is well underway and we expect to start hearing announcements very soon.

The series is expected to drop on the DC Universe streaming service sometime in 2019.
