Last week Ben Affleck released a very cryptic video teasing Deathstroke’s appearance in the DCEU. We previously mentioned the rumors circulating that Joe Manganiello could be playing the masked mercenary. It appears Geoff Johns, himself, has confirmed in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Manganiello will take on the role.
Affleck is co-writing the script with DC Entertainment president, chief creative officer and savior, Geoff Johns. Affleck will also direct. The film doesn’t have a release date yet. No word on if Deathstroke will be making an appearance in the upcoming Justice League film.
