Very curious how Simon Spurrier is going to bring things together from John Constantine: Hellblazer #10 and #11 after the events that took place in the latter. Spurrier didn’t fully deviate from the events that took place, but he definitely took a hard turn.

Now, that’s not to say he doesn’t go down an interesting road. It’s just hard not to wonder throughout John Constantine: Hellblazer #11 how everything relates to what happening the prior issue.

Which isn’t exactly off-brand for Spurrier, and because of that, readers of John Constantine: Hellblazer know he will make sense of everything — no made how bizarre things get.

And for all the weirdness that’s gone on for far in this series, John Constantine: Hellblazer #11 may take the cake.

(WARNING: Spoilers for John Constantine: Hellblazer #11 ahead.)

There are two things that’ll leave you scratching your head after John Constantine: Hellblazer #11. If you read the issue, you know. One reveal tells us a little more about a character who’s popped up fairly frequently in this series. Now, that could simply be a small surprise Spurrier threw in to add a little more to the story. Or, there’s a chance stakes just got a bit higher.

As for the other head-scratching moment: more than anything, I just wonder how Spurrier came up with such a bizarre idea.
