Fans of the highly successful John Wick films can stop anticipating when the next film will come out and start planning what they will be doing opening night.
According to multiple sources, including The Hollywood Reporter and Entertainment Weekly, John Wick Chapter 3 will be getting a release date of May 17, 2019. While no plot details have been released regarding the third film in the franchise starring Keanu Reeves, the production is lucky in that it has the only release date for that weekend. The first film brough in over $88 million in box office when it debuted in 2014 and the sequel brought in $171 million globally.
No word on who will be directing the third film in the series, but Derek Kolstad, who wrote the first two films is writing the third as well.
