This season for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D has been one of it’s best almost entirely to the addition of Robbie Reyes aka the Ghost Rider. This incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance wasn’t met with great enthusiasm when initially announced back in Comic-Con. With most comic book fans wanting the classic version of the character Johnny Blaze to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, thanks to Gabriel Luna’s performance Robbie Reyes is easily everyone favorite character on the show.
Now during this week’s past episode titled ‘The Good Samaritan’ we learn how Robbie Reyes acquired the Ghost Rider curse. Of course this differs from Robbie Reyes comic book counterpart however it does show our first glimpse as Johnny Blaze says Robbie Reyes from death after a street race gone wrong. No actor’s face is shown during this which leaves the door open to Johnny Blaze returning in another capacity…hopefully on a Netflix series eventually:
