July’s Lootaku has arrived and this month’s theme is dedicated to Dragon Ball Z!

Lootaku is a premium monthly subscription box all the way from Hong Kong. Each box features geek collectibles every month and includes 4 to 6 epic items ranging from Figures, Comics, T-Shirts, Mugs, Plushies and more. The name Lootaku originates from the words “Loot” and Otaku”, Otaku meaning a person who is obsessed to things like video games, anime, manga, etc…

This month’s Lootaku includes:

Attach0 (9)

  • Master Star Piece Figure Gotenks
  • Dragon Ball Keychain
  • Goku Heat Changing Mug PREVIEWS Exclusive
  • Dragon Ball Z 66 Action Trading Figures
  • Dragon Ball Z Goku Hat
  • Best of Anime Series 2 Mystery Minis

Lootaku has done it again with another great box, this time dedicated to one of the funnest action anime series of all time, Dragon Ball Z.

As I mentioned during one of my last Lootaku reviews, one of my favorite things about these boxes is the variety of an item. This month’s crate, for example, you can either get the Master Star Piece Figure of either Gohan or Gotenks. I scored Gotenks. I love the Master Stars Piece figures, there is such an amazing detail to them. The last time we got a Master Star Piece figure was in their March box and this was just as epic as the last.

The Dragon Ball keychain I received was of the two-star ball. Subscribers had a chance to get any of the 7 balls.

Also included in this month’s box was a coffee mug. There was either a Goku or Vegeta mug included, both of which when exposed to heat, show the character powering up. I received Super Saiyan Goku.

The 66 figure included was of Goku. Other variations included Vegeta, Gohan and Trunks. I had never heard of the 66 figures but the reason they are called so is because they are 66mm tall and also surprisingly very articulated.

The Dragon Ball Z Goku snapback hat features the “Kame” symbol and means “turtle”. This was one of the original symbol’s Goku wore in the series and represents his training under his first teacher Master Roshi. The back of the hat, which I didn’t get a picture of, says “Dragon Ball Z”.

Finally the Best of Anime Series 2 Mystery Minis will either score you a mini figure from One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Death Note or Bleach. Of course, I was lucky enough to score another DBZ figure to continue the trend, Vegeta to be exact.

Again, Lootaku delivers another great box. I love their choice in items and their decision to keep it fresh every month. If you are a Dragon Ball Z fan, this was very well the best box you could have received.
