Oct 21, 2018

There was word that director Jake Kasdan and the Jumanji: Weclome To The Jungle cast would be returning to begin filming the sequel in January. Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black are said to be returning.

Omega Underground has learned the Sony Pictures film as filming is expected to start production on January 21st and will wrap on April 26th.

Filming will take place in Atlanta and most likely Hawaii as well.

We previously reported that Kasdan/Sony hired Aquaman production designer Bill Brzeski and we’ve also learned that they’ve added Captain Marvel‘s supervising art director Andrew Max Cahn (Bad Teacher, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom).

Johnson is said to be shooting Red Notice co-starring with Gal Gadot once Jumanji finishes it’s production.

Sony has set the release date for December 13th, 2019.
